Living in a world designed for men and male bodies has multitudes of consequences for women, from the annoying—smart phones designed to fit comfortably in larger male hands and pockets—to downright dangerous—car seats designed to protect a typical male body. Much of the injustice is not due to overt sexism and malevolence, but rather ignorance: a chronic lack of information and insight.
